touch sensors

i've lots to blog about--special multi-course dinner at la casita mexicana, gold standard food & wine event this past weekend, m. ward concert with my bro last wed & syncope episode, and plenty of progress on prepping work for the upcoming show, which is why i have been too busy to blog.
made some touch sensor tabs for some of the drawers in a project from last fall. you may or may not recall, but i made a sculpture consisting of a stack of boxes with drawers. one of the boxes had four partially opened drawers with cast wax fingers in them. when you pull open the drawer, it triggers a sound. the issue was that people did not know to open the drawers. the tabs are (hopefully) an invite to at least touch, which is all that anyone would need to do to initiate a response.
the hanging mechanism for the large led piece is a little behind schedule, but coming along. i won't be able to pre-test hanging it on a construction wall, but will hope that it all works out hung up on the gallery.
